(Ironically, my CD32 has enough fast RAM to preload all 3 music files into RAM, but obviously that's not a solution for stock CD32s.) iff files on the CD and blocking the rest of the game while we fill some kind of music buffer. This also happens on the title screen (the rain animation hitches), and the pauses line up with disc activity, so I assume it's because we are streaming the music from one of the large. ![]() The only issue I found so far that affects playability is frequent pauses every 2-3 seconds - the graphics stop updating and the input stops responding for about half a second. I'm using a CD32 with the TF330 expansion (68030 50MHz, 64MB Fast RAM, IDE). Game looks lovely! I don't see any other CD32 users in the comments, so I'll share a few glitches I experienced. small fixes(2021.12.22.): new background music and. 2 new weapons (dragonball, dragonbreath) 6 new enemies, the map is full of them, so it won't be easy to complete added a few map elements to make it more colorfull (+2 enemy, tiles, lighting, player. minor changes for the future in engine (Traps, grass trampling. smaller laggs in movement (I hope it is visible) The game partly contains redraws of some "free to use" gfx, so if anyone has any objections to that, please post this in the comment. I do not have/had/own a CD32 so I do not know how it works, plase comment. The final version will include all the source code, the tools and editor for free. The engine itself does not require 2 Mb chip ram (nor HDD), so if you create a new game (depending on the amount of gfx and sfx you use) it can run even on an OCS machine from a floppy as well. Basically create a whole new shooter game! The game uses standard ABK (gfx or sound bank) used in AMOS. Combined with AMOS You can create or add new gfx to the game. With that you can create new maps for the game. The Map-Editor will be aviable with Project Horizon. If you find a bug in the game don't hasitate to write in the comment section! :) If the game is acceptable and enjoyable quality, it will be continued. The game use Project Horizon engine (under developement at the moment)! The download contains the first chapter as first level. Project - Quest : Chapter I-II-III is an 8-way scrolling top down fantasy shooter game for Commodore AMIGA.
